Bruce Kuhlik to receive the Exemplar Award in June  Washington, D.C. - The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) has announced Bruce N. Kuhlik, executive vice president and general counsel of Merck & Co., Inc., as the recipient of the 2014 Exemplar Award for his exceptional leadership in supporting and advancing the cause of legal representation for those unable to afford counsel. Kuhlik will receive the award at NLADA’s signature event, the Exemplar Award Dinner, to be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
